G iving back — It's automatic

Five percent of all fees collected by The Lovell Company, after taxes but before our expenses, are given to charity. We call this FiveBack™. We encourage our clients and their children to become involved in the process of selecting the beneficiaries of our donations. We have been impressed on more than one occasion by children and teens who feel strongly about a cause, and so eloquently present their case for it. Gifts are made in our clients’ names.

W e have been asked why we give money away

Quite simply, all of us who work at The Lovell Company have been incredibly blessed and fortunate in our lives. We make enough to live comfortably, we do business efficiently, and we aren’t looking to grow our company exponentially. Considering this, it just seems logical to give something back.

M oving Forward

We decided to implement our FiveBack™ policy at company inception, and have discovered that we do not miss income which was earmarked for others at the very onset. We have also found that it feels good to work for a company that cares. These two factors have led us to “spread the word.” We are now making efforts to develop an alliance of businesses of all sizes that are also in positions to give back.
